Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve is the most famous Game Reserve in Kenya. Mara is found in the southern part of Kenya in the Great Rift valley on an open grassland. Masai Mara is famous mostly because of the Annual Wildebeests Migration that occurs between July and November involving One and Half Million Animals. Masai Mara Game Reserve is serviced by two airstrips.
Wildlife
In Masai Mara National Reserve, you find the famous big 5; Elephants, Lions, Rhinoceros, Buffalos, Leopards.
You also find other mammals such as: waterBucks, jackals, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, warthog, Thompson’s gazelles, impala, zebras and over 400 species of birds.
Access
You can access Masai Mara National Reserve through all-weathered roads or by air since since it has two all-weathered airstrips.
